Annual Legal Fellowship
Carry the Work Forward
The Annual Legal Fellowship is a one-year fellowship available exclusively to former Summer Associate Legal Fellows who secure full-time attorney positions with a public-interest law firm or similar organization. It is the second stage of the Bradley Legal Fellows pipeline — turning a formative summer experience into the beginning of a career in public-interest law.
Benefits
-
A $50,000 fellowship award, in addition to the salary provided by the host organization
-
Membership in the Bradley community, including invitations to the annual Summer Associate Legal Fellows Dinner, the Bradley Prizes Ceremony, and other events
Eligibility
-
Completion of the Bradley Summer Associate Legal Fellowship
-
Full-time employment secured with a host organization before applying jointly with that organization
How to Apply
Applicants submit, together with their host organization, a resume; an 800-word essay on their dedication to public-interest law, how the fellowship would advance their career goals, how the Summer Associate Fellowship shaped their path, and how their aspirations align with the Bradley Foundation’s mission; and a statement of support from the host organization.
Materials are due November 1 to Program Director Jason Crye at LegalFellows@bradleyfdn.org. Decisions are announced by November 15.
