Christian Clase

Christian is the Constitutional Litigation Fellow at the New Civil Liberties Alliance. Prior to joining NCLA, he served as an attorney at the Center for Individual Rights, where he litigated cases involving federal overreach and First Amendment protections in federal courts across the country. He also served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Tennessee Office of the Attorney General, handling criminal appeals and post-conviction matters and participating in strategic litigation on behalf of the State of Tennessee.

Christian earned his Juris Doctor from Northwestern University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Purdue University, where he graduated with highest distinction. During law school, he externed for the Honorable John F. Kness of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and completed two internships with the New Civil Liberties Alliance, including as a Bradley Summer Associate. He resides in Virginia and is admitted to practice law in Tennessee and the District of Columbia. His professional experience and commitment to constitutional litigation reflect the core goals of the Bradley Legal Fellowship.
