Stephen is the Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer. In this role, Stephen oversees the financial and operational functions at the Foundation as well as the investment portfolio. Prior to joining the Foundation in 2018, Stephen was Senior Associate Director for Finance and Operations and a Research Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University. Stephen and his wife, Ann, keep busy raising their two children.
