Douglas Davidson and Joseph Wood have joined The German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF) as a distinguished visiting fellow and a senior resident fellow, respectively, GMF announced in December.

Davidson was head of the Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.  His work will focus on issues related to Europe and the Balkans in particular.

Wood was a deputy assistant for national security affairs to U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney.  He will focus on European affairs and the transatlantic alliance.

"We are thrilled to have two experienced and knowledgeable individuals join GMF's network of fellows," GMF president Craig Kennedy said.  "Their experience in Europe and inside the U.S. government will help GMF navigate a new political climate on a host of transatlantic issues."

The Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation in Milwaukee substantially supports GMF projects.
