ON-Lion Letter
Encounter Books has released its Fall 2016 catalogue.  In an introductory letter to readers, Encounter editor and publisher Roger Kimball writes, "You all know about that (probably apocryphal) Chinese curse:  'May you live in interesting times.'  Well, whoever said it, here we are.  This season's list will help you chart your way through these troubled waters and, I am pleased to say, provide at least a few reasons for hope."

In addition to the new titles, the catalogue also includes Encounter's backlist.

Encounter Books is an activity of Encounter for Culture and Education, a nonprofit organization that is substantially supported by The Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation in Milwaukee.
