ON-Lion Letter

Through lectures by the nation's pre-eminent originalist scholars and litigators, luncheon discussions, and visits to the U.S. Supreme Court, the "Originalism Boot Camp" of the Center for the Constitution at Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C., exposes select law students and recent graduates to the theory and practice of originalist interpretation.

The camp runs from May 23 through May 27.  Lecture topics include an introduction the competing strands of originalism, the normative and empirical rationales for originalism, originalism and history, and rivals of originalism.

Application information is available here.

The Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation in Milwaukee supports the Georgetown Center for the Constitution, which is directed by Bradley Prize recipient Randy E. Barnett.
