The Collegium Institute for Catholic Thought & Culture and First Things magazine will co-sponsor an evening panel discussion on April 26 at the Penn Club of New York in New York City on "Morality & Markets:  Jewish, Catholic, and Protestant Perspectives."

The Collegium Institute is a scholarly foundation devoted to fostering the Catholic intellectual tradition, and the liberal tradition of humane studies more broadly, within the University of Pennsylvania community.  The April panel discussion is also co-sponsored by the Penn Club.

The panel includes David Skeel, Jesús Fernández-Villaverde, and David P. Goldman.

Skeel is a professor of corporate law at the University of Pennsylvania and author of The New Financial Deal:  Understanding the Dodd-Frank Act and Its (Unintended) Consequences, among other books.  Fernández-Villaverde is a professor and the director of graduate studies in economics at Penn, as well as a research associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER).  Goldman is a senior fellow at the London Center for Policy Research, the Wax Family Fellow at the Middle East Forum, and author of How Civilizations Die (and why Islam is Dying, Too).

The Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation in Milwaukee supports the Collegium Institute and First Things.  Bradley also supports NBER and the Middle East Forum.
