ON-Lion Letter

Michael W. Grebe has announced that he will retire as president and chief executive officer of The Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation in Milwaukee by June 30, 2016.  Grebe joined Bradley’s Board of Directors in 1996 and became its second president in 2002.

"My experience at Bradley has been immensely satisfying," said Grebe, who turns 75 this Fall.  "I have had the opportunity to work with talented, dedicated people on our board, on our staff, and in our grantee organizations.  I have enjoyed helping the Foundation honor the philanthropic legacy of the Bradley brothers in their hometown of Milwaukee.

"I still love my job and, because I am fortunate to be in very good health, I could continue doing it for several more years," Grebe added.  "However, I have decided that it’s time for me to move on to other pursuits.

"For now, I simply want everyone to know how grateful I am for having had this opportunity and how much I have truly enjoyed this experience."

Bradley has retained a national executive-search firm to assist it in identifying potential successors to Grebe.
