Black Lives Matter protesters have quickly made civil-rights a focal point in the public discourse surrounding one presidential-primary campaign.  But the emergence of Donald Trump and his focus on immigration have largely crowded out any discussion of civil rights and racial-equality in the discourse surrounding the other primary campaign.

"The Debrief," a video series from Politico's "The Agenda," recently asked Bradley Prize recipient Robert L. Woodson, Sr., to explain what needs to be done to reach out to minorities.  The Woodson interview is viewable here.

Woodson is founder and president of the Center for Neighborhood Enterprise (CNE) in Washington, D.C.  The Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation in Milwaukee substantially supports CNE.
