ON-Lion Letter

During its 2015-16 season, the Skylight Music Theatre in Milwaukee celebrates women.  Through five productions, the Skylight will explore the strength, ingenuity, and resilience of women as they passionately fight both internal and external forces of human nature.

The season opens in September with Tosca, one of the greatest operas ever written, about an explosive love triangle.  For the holidays, a visually stunning production of My Fair Lady explores how our society values beauty.

Powder Her Face takes center stage after the New Year.  It is a powerful work about the Duchess Margaret of Argyll, the most-scandalous celebrity of her day.  In Crowns -- A Gospel Musical, beginning next March, an African-American girl works to figure out her identity, her place in the world, and her place in her own culture.

And in the Skylight's swashbuckling Pirates of Penzance, which draws the season to a close in May and June, all the actions and decisions are made because the women are pulling the strings.

Tickets, subscriptions, and information about group sales is all available online.

Milwaukee's Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation supports the Skylight.
