ON-Lion Letter

"Starting with just my graduation money in hand and now growing to over 1,000 campuses nationwide with over 40 full time field staff is incredibly humbling," begins a piece by Charlie Kirk, the founder and executive director of Turning Point USA in Lemont, Ill., in its most-recent Quarterly Update.  It is "still difficult for me to believe how far we have come.

"When we first started Turning Point USA," Kirk continues, "we had no idea how desperate the conservative movement was for a grassroots focused, metric driven, innovative youth organization.  The response and enthusiasm from our members, staff, leaders, and alliance partners only further reinforces how and why we have been able to grow so quickly.

"Our staff works harder than any other organization that I have ever come in contact with," he writes.  "We have a hungry, driven, dedicated team of young people who will be up at 6am and work well past midnight to grow our organization and presence across the country.

"Our team is not deviating from our core mission," Kirk concludes.
