Bradley Prize recipient Harvey C. Mansfield recently appeared on Conversations with Bill Kristol to discuss Leo Strauss and the Straussians.

Mansfield is the William R. Kenan, Jr., Professor of Government at Harvard University and the Carol G. The conversation with Mansfield is viewable online in four parts.  In the first part, Mansfield recalls how he met Strauss.  In the second, Mansfield discusses how one should approach the writing of Strauss.  In the third, Mansfield and Kristol talk about the major themes in the work of Strauss and his students.  And in the fourth, they discuss three important Straussians -- Seth Benardete, Allan Bloom, and Ernest Fortin.
