Summer camps at the three branches of the Urban Ecology Center (UEC) in Milwaukee are a terrific way for children to:  foster a deep connection to nature through fun, hands-on adventures; explore the secrets of nature by looking under logs, hiking in the woods, climbing trees, building forts, creating art projects, taking pictures, and much more; build science and engineering skills to be better prepared for the school year; wade in or paddle along waterways, fish, and enjoy the beaches of Lake Michigan; and enjoy low-key, healthy outdoor fun with kids from all over the city.

UEC has energetic, professional environmental educators who teach students throughout the school year.  Through its summer camps, these educators are ready to engage kids in topics and activities that will encourage curiosity and discovery, developing skills for school and life.

Different camps are held for those in preschool through eighth grade.  Registration information is available online.

Milwaukee's Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation supports UEC.
