ON-Lion Letter

In November, the Ethics and Public Policy Center's (EPPC's) Faith Angle Forum held its semi-annual Conference on Religion, Politics & Public Life in South Beach, Fla.  The Faith Angle Forum brings together a select group of nationally respected journalists and distinguished scholars for in-depth discussions of cutting-edge issues at the intersection of religion and public life.  Under the leadership of EPPC vice president Michael Cromartie, the series provides extended discussion and the kind of deep reflection that is not always possible in today's fast-paced world of breaking news.

Topics at the November conference included "Religious Conflict and the Future of the Middle East," "Why Social Scientists (and Some Journalists) Don't Get Religion," and "Christianity and Science:  Current Disputes among the Faithful."  Audio of the presentations is available online.

The Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation in Milwaukee supports the Faith Angle Forum, as well as the work of Council on Foreign Relations senior fellow Elliott Abrams, who made one of two presentations during the discussion about the Middle East.
