ON-Lion Letter

With its special Alien Worlds and Androids exhibition from October through January 2015, the Milwaukee Public Museum (MPM) will take visitors to a world where science fiction meets science fact.  In the exhibition, you will explore cutting-edge science and come face-to-face with the fantastic worlds depicted in your favorite science-fiction films and books.

Featuring educational content provided by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and NASA, Alien Worlds and Androids will interactively help answer several questions:  How close are we to discovering new alien worlds and alien life?  What are the differences between an android and a robot?  How has science fiction led to scientific reality?  Are we slowly becoming one with our machines?

An educator guide to the exhibition is available on the MPM website to help plan a visit and provides activities related to it.

The Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation in Milwaukee substantially supports MPM.
