ON-Lion Letter
In September, members of the City Year Milwaukee 2013-2014 corps members took the City Year pledge of service as part of its Opening Day celebration.  City Year corps members take a year of their young lives to tutor, mentor, and provide critically needed services to students.

There are 73 idealistic, passionate young corps members serving Milwaukee students in eight schools, in partnership with the Milwaukee Public Schools system, this year -- City Year's fourth in Milwaukee.  The corps members underwent six weeks of intensive training, team-building, and school partner orientation, mixed in with service in schools.

City Year Milwaukee has more than 180 alumni who have served over 300,000 hours and 15,000 students.  Earlier this year, for the second year in a row, City Year Milwaukee was recognized as a "Best of City Year" site for its performance.

Milwaukee's Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation substantially supports City Year Milwaukee.
