ON-Lion Letter
Earlier this Summer, the Acton Institute for the Study of Religion and Liberty held its annual Acton University in Grand Rapids, Mich.  Acton University is a unique, four-day exploration of the intellectual foundations of a free society.  Guided by a distinguished, international faculty, Acton University provides its students an opportunity to deepen their knowledge and integrate rigorous philosophy, Christian theology, and sound economics.

Students build their own curriculum, choosing from more than 100 courses ranging from the theological and philosophical to the policy-oriented and practical.  They learn from world-class faculty, meet leading authorities on economics, theology, public policy, globalization, the environment, and other disciplines.

Nine hundred students from 84 countries attended the 2013 Acton University.  Its lectures are now purchasable online.  They are in MP3 format, which is suitable for listening on mobile devices and computers.

Next year's Acton University will be held June 17-20 in Grand Rapids.

The Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation in Milwaukee substantially supports the Acton Institute.
