ON-Lion Letter
The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra's (MSO's) 2007-08 season, which begins in late September, will feature all nine symphonies of Ludwig van Beethoven, evenly spaced over many months.

Each Beethoven symphony, of course, is distinct in and of itself.  Together, however, they are even richer, each one shedding light on the others.  MSO is presenting each, along with a major American composition, as testament to Beethoven's powerful influence over symphonic form.

In May 2008, cellist Yo-Yo Ma will perform with the MSO, as well.  Among its other programming, MSO will also have five pops concerts, starting with Holiday Pops with Judy McLane in December.

Plus, MSO's Classical Connections Concerts series includes pre- and post-concert receptions and on-stage educational commentary during the six performances, and its Kinderkonzerts program continues this season, too.

Artistic director Andreas Delfs is now in his 10th season at MSO.

Tickets for all MSO performances can be purchased at the Marcus Center box office.  Milwaukee's Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation substantially supports MSO.
