In March, the Milwaukee Ballet Company announced its 2013-14 season, which includes an epic world premiere, an all-time classic, and several groundbreaking contemporary performances.  The season starts with the iconic Romeo & Juliet in October and November 2013 and concludes in May 2014 with the world premiere of Milwaukee Ballet artistic director Michael Pink's Mirror Mirror, which retells the most-famous fairy tale of all, Snow White, with a twist.

Along with the return of Milwaukee's favorite holiday tradition, The Nutcracker, in December 2013, the Milwaukee Ballet's Winter Series in February 2014 and Spring Series in April 2014 will display some of the most profoundly innovative choreography in all of ballet.  During the Winter Series, for example, the winner of the "2013 Genesis: International Choreographic Competition," Gabrielle Lamb, will return to Milwaukee to debut another world premiere piece designed specifically for the Milwaukee Ballet.  And for the Spring Series, Matthew Neenan and Amy Seiwart return to Milwaukee to premiere two new works tailored specifically to the strengths of Milwaukee Ballet dancers.

"I am personally thrilled for the 2013-14 season," Pink said.  "From a world premiere to a timeless love story, this season has something to dazzle and delight every type of dance lover."

Tickets for all Milwaukee Ballet performances are purchasable online.
