ON-Lion Letter
Mark C. Schug of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) was honored with the Kent-Aronoff Award during the Association of Private Enterprise Education's (APEE's) international conference in April in Las Vegas.

Schug is a professor emeritus of education at UWM, where he directed its Center on Economic Education.  He taught for more than 36 years at the middle-school, high-school, and university levels.

Now a consultant on economic and financial education and urban education policy, Schug has done work for several organizations supported by Milwaukee's Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation -- including EconomicsWisconsin, the Wisconsin Policy Research Insitute, and the Business and Economics Academy of Milwaukee.

The Kent-Aronoff Award honors and recognizes a member of APEE who, over a sustained and continuous period of time, has given unselfishly of himself to the growth and perpetuation of the organization.
