ON-Lion Letter
As a result of President Barack Obama's current policies, America is heading directly toward a record-shattering 2013 recession, according to Peter Ferrara's explosive new Encounter Broadside, Obama and the Crash of 2013.  In addition to the implementation of ObamaCare and the expiration of President George W. Bush tax's cuts -- which Obama refuses to renew for the nation's job creators and investors -- Americans will also seen an increase in the top rates of virtually every major federal tax, which will trash the economy and result in a calamitous double-dip downturn.

Ferrara is a senior fellow for entitlement and budget policy at The Heartland Institute, a senior fellow at The Carleson Center for Public Policy, and general counsel of The American Civil Rights Union.  He served in the White House Office of Policy Development under President Ronald Reagan and as associate deputy attorney general under President George H. W. Bush.

In Obama and the Crash of 2013, Ferrara explains how Obama's accelerating downward spiral is reversible if we change course with new policies and different leadership, if necessary.  The American Dream is still within reach -- and another economic boom still possible -- but America must return to the roots of its former prosperity.

Encounter Books is an activity of Encounter for Culture and Education, a nonprofit group that is substantially supported by Milwaukee's Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation, which also supports projects of The Heartland Institute.
