In September, the St. Marcus Lutheran School in Milwaukee's central city dedicated the first phase of its campus expansion.  Through its capital campaign, a total of more than 600 students will annually receive a Christ-centered, college-preparatory education at St. Marcus, often cited as a national model for how to do urban education well.

A typical St. Marcus student lives in a female-headed, single-parent household and qualifies for free lunch.  The families of 85% of St. Marcus' students participate in the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program.
The Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation in Milwaukee substantially supported St. Marcus' expansion.
