Since 1994, The Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation in Milwaukee has supported a total of 42 Robert Novak Journalism Fellowships awarded by The Phillips Foundation in Washington, D.C.

For example, a Novak Fellow in 2000, Stephen Hayes is a senior writer for The Weekly Standard and commentator for Fox News.  He has also written a landmark biography of former Vice President Dick Cheney.

Brian Brown, a 1998 Novak Fellow, was the deputy editorial-page editor of The Wall Street Journal and has been published in The Wall Street Journal, The American Spectator, and The Washington Times.  Todd Seavey, a '97 fellow, is a freelance writer and has worked for Fox News' Andrew NapolitanoFox Business News' John Stossel, and the Bradley-supported American Council on Science and Health

Bretigne Shaffer, another '97 Novak Fellow, is a writer and fimmaker and served as an editorial-page writer for The Asian Wall Street Journal based in Hong Kong.  And '99 fellow Lila de Tantillo headed up the task force at The Miami Herald that investigated the results of the highly charged 2000 presidential race in Florida.
